Jacob making Mom's Valentine's present @ Indian Guides
Jacob and I attended our first Craft meeting at Indian guides last night (09FEB09). The craft was to make the Moms a Valentines present. It was alot of fun and Jacob really enjoyed doing it.

| From Jacob's first BMX race |
Jacob has been wanting to race BMX for a while now, after he went to a BMX birthday party where all the kids had the track to themselves for 2 hours. So for Christmas the boys got BMX “race” bikes and we bought them full face helmets. This past Sunday (Jan18th) we celebrated Ethan’s 4th birthday by having the family come with us to the race track. Ethan got a brand new race bike just his size from his Grandparents and Great Grandparents on the Bazz side. The Orange Y BMX track had a clinic for beginner racers and both boys did it. Later that night Jacob decided he wanted to race and thats what this picture is, him at the gate waiting for his first race to start.

This is a short clip of Ethan snowboarding for his first time 5 days shy of his 4th birthday!
Our first trip to Mammoth of 2009 and Ethan has been waiting to try snowboarding like his BIG brother Jacob. Jacob got a new board and boots from Santa this Christmas so Ethan got Jacob’s gear from last season. We enrolled Ethan in a 3hr intro lesson on Friday Jan. 9th and he took to it like a fish to water. Saturday the 10th the boys took a break from the snowboarding and played with their Papa and Grandma. Sunday they both took all day lessons and Ethan loved it even more. Jacob who now has been snowboarding for 2 years is riding just about any chairlift he wants and is getting really good at linking his turns. I think 1 or 2 more lessons and he will be riding with Mon, Dad, & Papa all over the mountain.

| Indian Guides Turkey Shoot 2008 |
Jacob and I have joined Indian guides this year and we are having a great time. Lat month we participated in the annual Turkey Shoot (archery competition). It was held at Mile Square park archery area and they competed by grades. Jacob shot the bow and arrow all by himself and ended up WINNING his division! His new friend “Kaden” also won for “bullseye”. Click the picture to view a couple more pictures.
This Saturday while the boys and I were hanging out around home a really cool van pulled up across the street. It was the FOX bmx van with one of the hottest freestyle BMX’rs around Scotty Cramner if you dont know who he is click on his name to find out. The van was also carrying a BMX legend Mr Brian Foster who rides for Fitbikeco.
How exciting! Last night (19NOV08) we went to Ethan’s first back to school night! He was so excited to show us his class and all his friends. Mrs. Knibb his teacher is the sweetest, Ethan is so blessed to have her as his teacher. Ethan is going to the PreSchool @ our church “First Christian Church”, the same school that Jacob was at for Pre-K.
