Ethan eating sushi
Last week Jacob went to his first sleepover at his friends house “Curren”. So Julie and I decided to do something special with Ethan and he wanted to go out to eat for sushi. Our favorite Sushi restaurant is in HB called Sushi Geshen, we have been going there for years. At first Ethan said all he wanted was the Tempura, so Julie and I ordered him that and some rolls for ourselves. He saw what we had and wanted some of our food. He ate it all, it was amazing!

From Duke

Tonight we brought home our newest family member, our new German Shepherd “Duke”. We rescued him from a high-kill shelter in Baldwin Park. What we know about him is he is 2-1/2 years young and was surrendered Apr. 2nd by a man who had a stroke. He is a beautiful and wonderful loving Shepherd. So far he has been great with the boys, looking for them in the backyard. He was neutered today and is still a little out of it, so I have not seen his full energy potential, we have lots of time. He can’t wait to meet all of you soon!

Wonderful trip to AZ

Caryn & KaleyThis past weekend I spent in AZ to see the Dodgers “new” spring training facility. I was there with my dad, my grandpa, my uncle Tony and his son Rob, and my brother in-law Jason. We all had a blast seeing lots of baseball and guy stuff. While I was there I also go to visti some great friends and see where they live in AZ. That was such a treat to see all them and I am so happy for them all. Here are a couple of pictures I took of them to send home to Julie while I was there.

From Jake's 2nd place win

Tonight we went to the Orange Y BMX track for Jacob’s second BMX race. Jacob was using his new Felt BMX bike we just put together. He won his first moto so he got to rest until the main. He had gate #8 (not the best spot) but still got a good start. He battled for the first place spot right until the end getting a wonderful 2nd place finish! We are so proud of him and he is having lots of fun. Ethan also got some good track practice in having a blast.

From Max 2008

Yesterday we had to put down one of our family, Max our German Shepherd. We rescued him almost 10 years ago and we will miss him very much. The boys are doing well, Julie is taking it the hardest. People always boast that their kids or pets are the best but when I say Max was the Perfect dog it is the truth. If you spent anytime with us and him you know “exactly” what I am talking about.
Max we love you and miss you!
